what had happened was

By

initially i tried to make this website an enterprise.
i tried to turn my process into a product.

and then someone tried to buy it.
and everything felt wrong.

“your website isn’t working properly,” the first text read. “how do the curated packages work?” read the second.

agitation flooded me.

i had no desire to figure out how the “customized curated packages” i had advertised could work.

i had no desire to spend my life telling others what to do with theirs. i needed to slow down.

i had to sit for a moment because the part of me that wishes someone could save me from — and simplify — Life’s tangles was trying to become the savior for the part of others that feels the same.

and that’s when i saw it:
i mistook the path i was called to live with the trade i am called to give.

i am all for enterprise. i believe in exchange.
but life listening is too intimate to price.

so instead i share.
not as expert. as experiencer.
not as guide. as homegirl.

and together, we explore
what it means to listen to life.
